The National Innovation Office (NIH) is the research, development and innovation organization of the Hungarian Government. We provide professional support for private and government initiatives aiming to exploit and promote the market access of national R&D results. To this end we have a team of analysts and information management experts. NIH supports national and international cooperation, and incents the formation of innovation networks. The National Innovation Office represents Hungary at the EU and at international organisations in issues relating to research and innovation.

The Hungarian Intellectual Property Office was launched in 1896. It is an administrative authority with country-wide powers in the field of intellectual property. The tasks and competence of the Office are the preparation of intellectual property legislation, official examinations and procedures in the field of industrial property, central governmental information and documentation activities in the field of intellectual property, promotion of intellectual property activity by governmental measures. Hungary became member of the European Patent Convention on January, 2003.

The Theodore Puskas Foundation (PTA) was established in December 1992. The Founders were the Government of Hungary and several respectful institutions of science and business. The co-founders defined the following prime objectives for the non-profit organization: introduction and dissemination of advanced technology, vigorous development of activities related to technology transfer, and the introduction of the best Hungarian technologies on the international market.

The Federation of Technical and Scientific Societies - MTESZ - was established in 1948. Its aim is to coordinate the work of the professional societies, to help their collaboration and to protect their interests.
Now there are forty societies in the federation; which means almost all Hungarian professional-scientific organizations. These organizations have approximately 70,000 members altogether, mainly engineers, researchers, agrarians, financial and natural sciences experts, economists.
In addition corporate bodies and enterprises can also be members. The member societies have thousands of relations with enterprises, firms and institutions.

Millenaris Park is a cultural exhibition and event centre, which was created on the site of the former Ganz Electric Factory to commemorate the 1000 year anniversary of Hungary's foundation. Its five buildings makes Millenaris a perfect spot for recreation and cultural activities. The Teátrum house has a well equipped film studio (890 sq m). The inside of the Fogadó offers a multi-functional utilization. Exhibition halls "B" and "D" and the connecting building will serve as the main premises of the House of Future project.

In 1995 a new program has been established in Hungary helping talented high school students (in the age between 14 and 20) to find mentors who introduce them to scientific research in Hungarian universities or research institutes. The program gained an overwhelmingly positive response from the Hungarian scientific community. Among the six hundred mentors: George Olah is a Nobel Laureate, 118 are members of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, and most of them are respected professors of their research field.

The Club is an exclusive meeting place for the engineering society where they can gather and discuss professional topics, regardless of their political attachments.
