XIX. INNOVATION GRAND PRIZE
The Hungarian Innovation Foundation announces the 19th Hungarian Innovation Grand Prize
with the Ministry for National Economy, Ministry of Rural Development, National Innovation Office, Hungarian Intellectual Property Office and the Public Foundation for the Development of Industry.
Companies registered in Hungary can apply which gained significant profit by realizing innovation of great importance (selling a high quality new product, new process, new service, etc.) in 2010.
The basis of an innovation could be an R&D result, patent, adaptation of a know-how, technology transfer, etc. Applications with an innovation awarded at a former Innovation Grand Prize contests are not allowed.
The content requirements of applications:
One page summary with the indication of the following: the subject of the innovation, the name, address and phone of an applicant, the list of the economic and other results of the innovation and of the references as well,
Detailed description about the realization and its market and economic results (extra yearly business result, extra yearly income, increase of the market share etc.) on max. 10 pages,
References (expert opinions, opinion of the buyers, photo, video, article, etc.)
Statement regarding the truthfulness of the announced data and information and the intellectual property rights as well.
The evaluation aspects of the Innovation Grand Prize 2010:
the achieved extra economic result or extra yearly income in 2010 and other technological, economic advantages,
originality, novelty,
social utility.
Beside the Innovation Grand Prize, the further outstanding innovation results get the innovation prizes in six categories: Industrial-, Agricultural-, Environmental-, Technology Innovation Prize as well as the innovation prizeslaunched by the Hungarian Patent Office and the Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The most successful, after 2005 established innovative micro and small enterprise gets the Hungarian Innovation Foundation’s Special Award for Innovation. One of the winners gets Public Foundation for the Development of Industry’s Organizational Innovation Award.
The award ceremony will take place in the House of the Parliament, at the end of March, 2011.
The Foundation appreciates all the important innovation qualified by the Jury with a diploma. The summary of the applications will be published in a special brochure and on the Internet.
